Is it possible to earn good money consistently, trading options in India?
This is the question I set out to answer, in the end of October, 2019. Not that I hadn't "tried" earlier. But I had a new friend, an ally who was to serve me well. But I knew it not then....
I have finally found the nerve to follow my strategy, and the signs are good. If the first few months are anything to go by, I am confident of making market beating returns consistently. And I invite you to join me on this incredible journey in my Option Wealth Club - India !
What would I consider a good return? The benchmark has been set (for me, atleast) by Mr. Warren Buffett. What is Mr. Buffett's return? From 1965 to 2017, Berkshire Hathaway generated a 20.9 percent annual return compared to S&P 500's 9.9 percent, according to CNBC.com. While what is good enough for Mr. Buffett is good enough for me. With the higher risk in trading, I would not be willing to settle for a return of less than 30 percent per year. So with that benchmark set, let us see what I did!
I plan to set out my investing journey for you to follow and comment on. Initially only in the form of data on my performance, but eventually also as specific buy and sell recommendations for you to replicate in your own accounts*. Eventually there may be some sort of subscription to cover the cost of my blood and tears. But don't worry, you should be earning tens of hundreds of thousands of rupees by then, so the subscription should not bother you in the least!
And now for the fine print:
