How I Did It - Overview

Writing Options

This was a new way to earn money from the stock market for me. I live and work in India and this method works very well for the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the major Indian Stock markets.

What drew me to writing (or shorting) options was the very forgiving nature of option writing. You can be very wrong as to whether the stock you have invested in is going up or down, and yet you can still get to keep your investment and probably also get a return on it. And if you are right as to market direction, you can get a VERY good return. By very good, I mean 2 to 3 times the return that Mr. Warren Buffet gets, over the long term.

Can you go badly wrong? Of course you can, markets are not 100% predictable. But you can recover very nicely. Which is what I show how in the Option Wealth Club. If you have not heard of black swan events, this is a good time to read up on them!

Have fun! As a professional, I could find just minutes in a busy work day to check on the markets. And yet, I have returned 3.8% in my first month implementing this strategy and I am on the way to earning an equally good return in my second month. But most importantly, I've had a positive return every month so far!

Now lets get this clear, I have been taken to the cleaners many times before by Mr. Market. But that was before October 2019, when I tried to earn an income trading options. Mostly by buying options on hot stocks It did not work out - three years in a row! But ever the optimist, I kept trying to find a way to get even with Mr. Market. And now I have found it! My fortunes changed in October 2019 when I started selling options. In retrospect, I could have done it earlier. And earned my freedom that much sooner. But I had to get rid of a few mental blocks before I could get to the point where I am beating  Mr. Market 9 times out of 10.

But enough of an overview, let’s get down to the nitty-gritty without any delay...

Shall we begin?
